Causes

The Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation - They were the first charity I ever got involved with, after my friend Zack broke his neck and became paralyzed (more on that here) They are the largest non-profit for spinal chord injury research and quality of life grants. I have run the NYC Marathon for them 3 times.

Global Lyme Alliance - I got involved with them after I was diagnosed with chronic Lyme Disease in 2013, during the most difficult period of my life. For 3 years I was so sick I thought I'd never write or perform music again. There is a lot of controversy around chronic Lyme, but I can assure you from personal experience that it is very real, extremely isolating and oftentimes unbearable. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have made an almost complete recovery. GLA is doing great work to raise money for research and find a cure for this brutal disease.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE: If you think you or someone you care about might have Lyme Disease, please do not hesitate to reach out to me via my Contact Page. I know how difficult this process can be, and I am more than happy to try and help in any way I can.

Alzheimer's Foundation of America - I started working with them right before my grandfather passed away from Alzheimer's. It is a terrible disease which currently has no cure. The AFA is doing a great job spreading awareness and raising money for research. Plus, they are extremely supportive of up and coming artists. I have performed at several of their events.
